Sunday ( the day before Monday) =(
(Numb Encore-Jay Z and Linkin Park)* song ringing.... 7am...must wake up liao..
My dajie's bf also wake up le..we get into the car and drive to the carpark near Great World City..do some warm up and start running along Singapore River to the Merlion opposite of Fullerton..beside esplanda. Ran past Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and then Fullerton hotel..what a peaceful morning.
Ran until near Shenton way..feels very tired le..too long never run such a distance..(for me, this is long). But i din stop at all..cos my dajie's bf dun allow me to stop..haha..just let me catch my breathe while jogging on the spot.
After around 20 min of run...finally reached Merlion...woot...the morning breeze brushed across my tired and "spiritless" face -_______- Then a tour arrived..a tour from Japan..haha..all ah ma and ah pek..
Then we slowly ran back to the carpark...to end the run. We drove to his friend's condo to swim right after the run. Haha, duno how many years never swim liao..nearly forget how to swim..swim a few laps and we jumped out of the water and went into the steam bath. Seriously, i duno whats the steam bath for..maybe for burning of fats and anti the toxic in our body.
After all these execrise..its only 11am. Then off we go for our lunch..
Then i heard him say something about NS half marathon (Shear Bridge Run). Haha, duno why, suddenly feel very enthu about it. Then we went straight to Safra Mt Faber after lunch and register. WAH..$25 to take part. I tot only around 10 dollars. Then when ticking which dist to run..i initially wanna try the 12km one only...but he said run the 21km with him...haha..then 21 km lor..haha..i can predict an extreme endurance run. So i register my name under the competitive runner for 21km. Afterward, my dajie bf said some very frightening words..."From now to the day of the run..u will have to run with me twice a week..." argggggggghhhhhh...
Go home..told my sisters about it, they laughed..said that 21km is no short distance..its like from my house run all the way to changi airport...haha...i initially thought only run until tiong barhru that distance...
Well, maybe i can train my running skill these few weeks until i am fully ready for the run? No one knows whether i can make it or not..only time will tell.
